Sunday Gustin, RN, MPH, works for the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF) in the Division of Family and Community Services. She joined the Division in 2007 as the home visitation manager and is now administrator for the Office of Early Childhood Services. Early Childhood Services reaches families from pregnancy/infancy to preschool and kindergarten entry. This prevention-focused work includes the statewide Strengthening Families Initiative, the network of evidence-based home visiting programs, New Jersey’s Early Childhood Comprehensive Services (ECCS)/Help Me Grow initiative, and Project LAUNCH.

Ms. Gustin has 30 years of experience in nursing and public health, and she holds a master of public health degree from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Much of her work has been focused on prevention, program development, and advocacy for pregnant women, parents, children, and families. Prior to joining DCF, she was the maternal-child health administrator and Healthy Start director for the city of Trenton.
