Covering a broad range of health policy topics, the Forum offered three distinct products:
Meetings, briefings, and workshops featured speakers from across the country, representing a wide variety of disciplines, experience, and viewpoints. Speakers included researchers, health care providers, community leaders, consumers, health care industry executives, purchasers, and policymakers. Materials from meetings, including most slide presentations, and publications are available for download, free of charge, through December 31, 2018.
Publications included Issue Briefs (concise, analytic reports on health policy issues), Background Papers (longer documents that synthesized research, market analyses, and other findings on a particular topic or program initiative), and Basics (short primers that answered key questions about programs and policies).
Site visits offered a firsthand look at health care programs and markets around the country for small groups of staff. These one- to three-day experiences offered in-depth learning and an opportunity to connect with the world beyond Washington, DC. Reports compiled after site visits captured participants' key impressions.
